Wallstreet...or something w/ statistics

Well sure I plan to be a pure math major...but I really have to overall favorite topic.
I mean in pure math my favorite topic would be number theory.
But in applied it is most definitely STATISTICS.
Sure having a job that deals w/ pure math would be great but to me it feels as if I would not be acomplishing much. So I plan to focus more on statistics and economics.

Well if it turns out that I do not become a Quant there is always the option of Actuary I guess =\
