Currently reading 1984 and am about half way through so far. Can't say that it has lived up to the hype as of yet but who knows. Well I think I have found the best line in the whole book, yes I am willing to bet that it is better than anything I will read in the second half.
"If you loved someone, you loved him, and when you had nothing else to give, you still gave him love."
Personally I feel that it would be better if 'him' were changed to 'them' but that's just a minor detail.
